About Taylor Gould

Hello my name is Taylor Gould!

As someone who has suffered from a couple pregnancy losses, I understand the need and importance of finding a form of alternative healing. I understand the Post traumatic loss, and the need to be comforted – I understand being alone and unable heal.

I’ve gone through two Ectopic pregnancies and two miscarriages between 2020 and 2022 – I’ve lost not just my children but my right tube as well as having my left tube repaired. I thought I was less of a woman because I was unable to carry a child – let alone having lost one tube. My heart broke, and I was deeply lost. I never felt so alone. I will admit I was very lucky to have the support of my husband, but as well as my beautiful horses.

This experience I had helped me understand the need of such a program in our area. To be able bring my experiences, with my education, and our horses together - to help other women who have gone through what I have has become my passion.

As a Certified Equine Assisted Support © Facilitator, it’s my job to help my clients become aware of their energy while engaging with horses. Horses are used in these programs because they can pick up on our body language and feelings.

Any form of feelings such as fear, happiness, sadness, anger, grief and confusion, can result in a form of “feedback” from our equine partners. Their form of communication is clear, immediate, non-judging and authentic which is based on how horses react naturally in a herd.

As a Certified Equine Assisted Support © Facilitator, I find myself longing to become more educated in this field. Honing my passion to help others I find myself continuing my education to become immense in the skills of Human Services.

I have a Diploma in Social Services, Degree in Human services, Certified equine-assisted healing facilitator, Trauma & Recovery Practitioner, Certification in infant and Pregnancy loss as a Doula, First aid in Mental Health, Certified Life and Grief Coach.

My scope of practice is supporting women who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy, infant, or child. Emotional and spiritual core strength building for individuals struggling to cope with PTSD or CPTSD.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is an anxiety disorder caused by very stressful, frightening or distressing events.

Complex post-traumatic stress disorder (complex PTSD, sometimes abbreviated to c-PTSD or CPTSD) is a condition where you experience some symptoms of PTSD along with some additional symptoms, such as: difficulty controlling your emotions. feeling very angry or distrustful towards the world.
